How to Compose with the Harmonic Series

There's a reason why we hear something as consonant or dissonant, and it's the Harmonic series (or Overtone series).

It guides us to make sense of the tones played simultaneously and shows the strength of the intervals. Let's grab a portion of that series and compose an orchestral piece based on that seed.

If you want, pick the same starting point but change some of the steps I go through in the video. I'm pretty sure you'll come up with an exciting composition, and maybe you're even positively surprised about what you can write!? :)
